We went for a drive today to have a look at the rivers around us because they said they are experiencing minor flooding. I took some pics and decided to share them. i have had enough of the rain and i know a couple of other members here feel the same.

we live in town but these are photos of the farming land near us.

We drove passed farmers moving their cattle to higher ground.

My kids have been stuck in the house for the last 2 weeks so when the rain eased up today for a few minutes i let the youngest outside to play. Lucy had to find the water to play in.

Lucy looks like she is having a ball. When I was a kid if it was raining my mum would put a raincoat on us kids and send us outside to play in the rain, we thought it was great fun! A nice warm bath was always in order by the time we came in

it has been raining up there hasn't it... nothing to speak of down here... I mean we've had some showers today but nothing worth writing home about...

i am hoping we see some sun today, it is 6.30am and it is light outside but cloudy and it is quiet. The budgies in the aviary have stopped their morning chats and even the native birds are quiet.Poor budgies i think all this rain is depressing them.

Hi Deb, we live in Muswellbrook but have no where near the amount of rain you have had. My birds are quite happy all snug and warm in their breeding cabinets in our shed!!
