 Hello and welcome Ellen, we look forward to hearing about your budgies. Thank you for posting the link Liv! :budgiedance:

Ellen, you will see 10 little icons above your screen, the first one being a bold b, the seventh one is the picture of the tree which allows you to post your pictures.

Normal Violet - unless there is a large spot on the back of the head then she would be a dominant pied. How long have they been with you since they are new?

My answers are in red, I asked about how long you had the new ones because I wanted to ensure that you did quarantine before you introduced the 2 new ones to the existing flock, I like to ask because some people don't do it and other do so if you did that is good.

I have had the new ones for about a 2 weeks, I have not quarantined them.

you've got a great variety there. very cute. Just for future reference, when you get a new bird it is good to quarantine for at least 30 days, avian vets recommend 60 I think, just so that if they have any health issues it will not be past onto your flock... you'll find that people here are pretty adiment about doing it because some have lost a big majority of there flock from illness before. Its to late for your new ones to be taken out but just try to remember next time. Hope you enjoy your time here at the BBC forums. look forward to seeing lots more of you and your budgies around here ^_^
