Posted April 16, 200817 yr Hey guys, I'm new here, but I plan to bring home a new hand-trained budgie this weekend. I just finished decorating his cage full of toys and other neat items, but I think I bought too much, or somethings might be useless. Here are some pictures of the cage...does it look too cluttered? Is the ladder neccessary? Should I lower the perch because his head might hit the swing? I appreciate all help Should I put the branches in? http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja...00/Photo793.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja...00/Photo792.jpg Would it be too cluttered if I put this in? http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja...00/Photo791.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja...00/Photo790.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja.../Photo789-1.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/ja...00/Photo789.jpg Edited April 16, 200817 yr by Elly picture size limit exceeded can be no more then 450x450 before posting images, please read guidelines, thank you :D)
April 16, 200817 yr Welcome to the Forums , I have to tell you that you are going to be upset what I have to say but that cage is not a good cage for a budgie, round cages make birds feel very insecure along with that the bar spacing is too large for a budgie. Please read this Article CLICK HERE NOW TO READ about the right type of cages for 1 budgie and more, there are examples of cages that are good and bad. The branch you have as long as it is on the safe list for woods or bought from a pet store is very good to add to the cage.
