Partner For Olive Green Female Budgie

Hi it's been awhile since I last posted ...,need advise on .. I have purchased a Lovely Olive Show type Female budgie she has a green ring band of 2007 . I would like to know what would be the best type to pair her to . I want to achieve nice - sized healthy budgies . I also have a Double Factor Reccesive Pied Male, he is mostly yellow with a few black markings on the wings with a green rump ,he is also a show type.

Thank you for your time

:)

I think you mean your pied is a DF DOMINANT PIED not recessive. Have you a picture of your OLIVE in case its a grey green ?

welcome back, would love to see pictures that would help a lot :).

Thanks Kaz

Very new to genetics

The breeder I got her from said she was of show type and that he had to much stock. I Think she is a lovely bird and is very gentle . Should I pair her to the Recessive Pied (aka.. Aussie) .

Any suggestions..

when you say an 07 bird, do you know when in 07? we are only 4 months into 08... when were you thinking about breeding?
