Something that I have wondered recently as I have a community type aviary which has budgies as well as cockatiels, large type quails and sometimes my small bird savvy galah in it. Obviously budgie seed doesn't suit my larger birds and vica versa so I often have dishes in there with different seed mixes in them. Has anyone ever had an issue with this? Will the budgies only pick out the seeds that suit them. I assumed yes but thought I would ask anyway as sometimes the answers surprise :bluebudgie:

It should work out okay. It works like that in my husbands mixed aviary...with parrots, finches and canaries...they all eat what suits them from various seed mixes and dishes of seed :bluebudgie:

That's what I figured... Sometimes it's nice to have someone else confirm these things though :bluebudgie:

Mine all eat as they please :bluebudgie: (cockatiels, budgies, quails AND rabbits :wine)
