April 15, 200817 yr Author I had the prospective parents of one of my latest babies over this morning and took them out to show them the aviary. I think there eyes nearly popped out of their heads when they saw the table laden with fruit, vegies and a bowl of soaked legumes. I spent more time preparing their breakfast this morning than I spent making the family dinner last night :(Laughing out loud): So my last available baby will be going to a lovely couple and their six year old son.
April 15, 200817 yr I have just read this and was starting to get worried I believe that the comment on the Dried Soup mix is dehydrated vegetables not Soup mix as in French onion... right????
April 15, 200817 yr Author Soup mix is the soaked legumes I refer to in my last post. It's just the dried split peas, barley, etc that you add to soups.
April 26, 200817 yr Dried peas, beans, lentils and chickpeas are low in fat and good sources of protein, starch, fiber, iron, calcium and minerals. blah blah blah so actually Kaz you and the birds are eating fine How long do you leave soup mix to soak????? Cause i just got some today also.
