Posted April 12, 200817 yr It was such a gorgeous day today we spent nearly all day outside. While my partner and his daughters boyfriend started on my new aviary for my budgies, (Check out the photos in the Aviary section) I supervised and also took some photos of my puppies, a few of my larger parrots and their aviary, enjoy!! Monty and Bella chewing on an old cob of corn, yuk! Jemma, my 6 y.o cocker still chewing! My major mitchells Princess parrots Opaline grass parrots Their aviary!!

April 12, 200817 yr Author It really enjoyed the day - beautiful weather, relaxing in the back yard, surrounded by the people and pets that I love, it doesnt get any better than that - oh, yes it does, watching my new aviary go up!!
April 12, 200817 yr they are beautiful the whole gang, word of caution corn on the cob is very dangerous for dogs becaue they can't digest the cob chucks (if they did chew on them and swallow them) and it can cause blockage, I saw this on Animal Precident where they found a dog starved to death and the cause with corn on the cob (plus owner not taking to the vet -- and I know that is not you), but I would have never realized a corn on the cob could cause that much damage.
April 12, 200817 yr Author Thanks for that Elly, I will be sure to keep a good eye on them when chewing corn! Today was the first time they've had it and the only reason for that was they scavenged through the bag I had used to collect all the leaves and old seed,feed etc out of the aviary and stole the corn when I turned my back! April 12, 200817 yr yep that is when they get into trouble when they scavage that is what my Brandy (who is in heaven), did until the day he died (Laughing out loud)

April 12, 200817 yr Yes I have to agree... I'd love to be able to fit a nice big aviary like that out the back... I think thats bigger than my backyard.

April 14, 200817 yr Amazing Aviary ! It's a great size. Nice birds & the dogs are just beautiful. I like their coloring ... I've only seen the traditional black & whites mostly. Excellent set up there Jenene.
