But when I went to feed this morning it was out of the nest. There are 5 babies in all in this particular nestbox...is this a normal age for the baby to be out of the nest? I put him back in the box ...anxious to see if he is out in the morning. What age should they come out of the nest and also what age do I separate them from the parent cage? Thanks for your help.....Sueann

mine usually hop out of the nestbox between 26-35 days old... I usually put them back in the nestbox if younger than 30 days.

If the baby is not fully feathered yet, just keep putting it back in until it is. :wub:

Heheh Mine just fledged I had to keep putting her back in eveyday for 2 weeks she just wanted to be out LMAO ....
