But when I went to feed this morning it was out of the nest. There are 5 babies in all in this particular nestbox...is this a normal age for the baby to be out of the nest? I put him back in the box ...anxious to see if he is out in the morning. What age should they come out of the nest and also what age do I separate them from the parent cage? mine usually hop out of the nestbox between 26-35 days old... I usually put them back in the nestbox if younger than 30 days.

If the baby is not fully feathered yet, just keep putting it back in until it is.

Heheh Mine just fledged I had to keep putting her back in eveyday for 2 weeks she just wanted to be out LMAO ....
