Maybe one of the experts can help me and tell me the colour of my new budgie.

I think it is a baby hen - Cinnamon Opalin Yellowface, but I don't know what her colour is.

It always looks different - grey without flash, greyblue or pastel violett with flash or in sunlight.

I attached some photos. The first one is without flash. Thanks for your help.

I believe she is a violet and the cinammon mutation has a tendency to wash out the colors so this is why her blue is light.

Thank you very much for your reply. Oh, that's really interesting. I had a look in the other topics - so violet means cobalt plus the violet factor? :book:

...but she might turn into a green bird after all - not too sure wether she is a Yellowface I or II .
