I had fun dreaming it up and making it. It was harder than i thought to create a swing for a bird who can't grip with his feet. It had to have a flat bottom and it must not tip.

 

I got most of the bits from Spotlight...

Theyre great toys Liv!! I might have to go visit my Spotlight now youve given me some inspiration. My parrots would LOVE to pull those shredder toys apart.

They're great Liv. I have to make some more after the mice pooped and wee'd on lots of my old ones. It looks like you've got the bug now... I'm sure they'll love them all.

He is going great. Even right in the middle of a moult he still loves attention. He is a gorgeous singer and chats to anything he can find 1 more week of quarantine to go - YAY!!!

Scooter is doing really well. He must have been handled before i got him because he loves sitting on my shoulder and snuggleing into my neck and cheek

Scooter, Cookie and Latte

A Latte and a Cookie!!! What a great combination. Very sweet

Latte has fledged this morning!!! Now to wait until she is feeding herself which shouldn't take too long.... OHHH so exciting

Cookie (aka Boof hahaha) has also jumped out the box now!! - It's a really nice day here today so all the babies are coming out at once - That reminds me to update my fledgling post that I haven't touched in ages :budgiedance:

That's great! It would be nice to be able to bring both Latte and Cookie in at the same time... I'm so jealous....they're all just so adorable. I miss breeding :budgiedance:

These are my last babies for a while... my aviary is full and because i am not actively selling any of my birds I need to take a break. I won't be colony breeding again either - one baby is left to come out of a box (Latte and Cookie's lil bro) and then all nest boxes are out :budgiedance: .
