Posted March 23, 200817 yr Hi folks. Name is Derek and have just moved back to Queensland from Wagga Wagga, NSW. At the present time I do not have any budgerigars but am consiering getting back into breeding them. Back in the 80's I had aviaries with in excess of 100 birds and was a member of the Australian Budgerigar Society. As soon as I get settled I will be looking at getting an aviary. A search on Google sent me to this site. Look forward to getting to know you all. Derek

We have a broad spectrum of people here from pet budgie owners to show breeders. Have a bit of a laugh, some education and some great fact finding expeditions into "WHAT IS THIS BUDGIE TYPE" and "WHAT SEX IS MY BUDGIE?" etc Look forward to hearing more from you :budgiedance:

March 23, 200817 yr Derek the Show is at the Mt Gravatt Show Grounds Logan Road Upper Mt Gravatt. Sunday 30th March. Birds will be benched at 7:00am to 8:30am with Judging starting around 9:00am. Birds will be open to public after the judging is complete. Depending on how many birds are benched it could be around lunch time. I have a web site that at the moment doesn't seem to be up. Last time this happened it was a server issue with my ISP. Apparently they are closed for easter. so I will be ringing them tomorrow. You can see what i've done in this post. >LINK<
March 23, 200817 yr Sorry I'm a bit slow on the update, just finished driving back home from sydney... 8 .5 hours in the car driving non stop (except for fuel) and what is the first thing I did??? Got online... welcome to the most addictive website on the net... I like you have no budgies at the moment... been at the forum less than a month and just figuring out what I want and all that sort of hoopla... Daz's place is fantastic, you have to check out his site when it gets up... Its Budgie Utopia up there. Well, enjoy yourself, and don't be a stranger, everyone hear loves a good chat and a laugh.
