Hi I just Did my first rescue! the 2 budgies I got were in a home for a yr and a half and didnt even have names! They are very skiddish and affraid, they were in a home with Dogs and cats and the cage was very small and the lady said it was knocked down many times and once they didnt find one bird for days! So they have a new bigger cage and they had there wings clipped and they have names! Jasper and Molly are my new Babys after having to put my sweet Ebony down the end of January (14 yr old Dog).

So im a real newby but i have a little experiance from baby sitting my Dads Budgie. So Hello to all from patty :hap: :fear

Hi and welcome to you and your gorgeous budgies. Well done on the rescue, I am sure they are much happier in their new home :) .

Hey NEIGHBOR ! Welcome to BBC.

Good for you on your rescues. They look like beautiful birds. You will learn lots here & be able to give them a great home. Nice to see another Canuck in the forums. :hap:

Hi Patty and welcome! Good stuff on your rescue. Bless you for saving them. I'm sure over time they will settle in and you will have a very special relationship! :D

:D Hello and welcome to BBC, good job on the rescues, there are so MANY being discarded out there! (4 of my 6 budgies are rescues plus I am fostering one). They are very pretty!!! Bet they are good singers as well!! (Not all my rescues are tame or can be tamed - maybe if I had more time or they were younger but they sing louder than the rest!!). Check out our FAQS and work, work, work with them and you may be happily rewarded! :D

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy the site, feel free to ask all your questions that you may have... Your new budgies are very cute.
