Did you quarantine? He lovely!

No. I did the silly thing and didn't! And then I ended up having to take both of them to the vet -- this was 2 years ago.

But they only got some mites, nothing to drastic. They're healthy and happy now.

My budgie was like that as well when I brought him home.

I think it just takes a little while for them to settle in. Now he is active, talks and is very friendly.
