Posted March 14, 200817 yr Since its been way too long since i last posted something in here i thought id better come in here and re introduce myself and the gang.. Umm.. My name is Una and i live in Tropical Far North Queensland (Australia).. I have one happy hubby and two equally as happy baby girls who i guess are not so much babies anymore hahaa, Ashlee (12) and Milly(10).. My inside flock consists of my ADORABLE budgies Apple, Munchkin (Munchy for short), Mig and Budgie (original eh although i didn't name him) .. There is also Harry the Female budgietiel who use to be cage mate to budgie before i "rescued" them. Also inside is Ruby my Supa Snuggly Eclectus Hen who is just starting to learn to talk and has developed a passion of trying to feed me which is really not that nice hahaa and also inside is Buzz and Poppy my Indian Ringnecks.. Outside are the remanding budgies (11) that i saved from the outbreak of coccidiosis in the aviary a while back.. Since that drama ALL the aviary was stripped right back of EVERYTHING and is standing as an empty shell still in the middle of the yard.. i am never going through that again. We have just recently purchased our house and some extra land so once the colourbond fence goes up around the whole lot, Hubby's going to erect 2 banks of suspended aviary's with each bank consisting of 4 or more sections.. Also outside are Gypsy and Leo my darling Rainbow Lorikeets, 2 Eastern Rosella's, 2 cockatiels, 2 Turquoise Parrots and one lonely Bourke cock who is in need of a playmate (other than the cockatiels ) I also have two dogs Bean who is a Jack Russell x Maltese Terrier and Ernie who is a pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier and last but not least 4 guinea pigs.. Rupert, Wellington, Lil Buttons and Bandit Okay i THINK thats all about me (well more than enough for now anyway) Cheers  Una

What does it fell like having several new holes in yer nose to breath outta ? Must be great when you have a cold ! I bet you make wild whistling noises when you sleep. (Laughing out loud) Hahaaa Actually she is really quite gentle.. I wouldn't trust her to stick her head in my mouth otherwise.. In the photos she had me in stitches of giggles which only made her play about even more .. she is such a silly sausage.. G'Day Una hope you and the birds survived the wet season.. Good to have you back. Thanks Daz.. It was a good wet season this year although not as good as it use to be 20 years ago.. The Peninsula Development Road is still closed to all traffic so we are all still feeling pretty remote with no car access in or out.. they are thinking the roads will be still closed for a few months yet.. Its still raining on and off which is good and this time around i had NO illnesses with the birds since they are all now in a patio aviary off the ground on the back patio.. I NEVER want to go through and i hope nobody here ever has to go through the nightmare i had to last wet season.. Kaz was my life saver and a few birds were saved because of the help and the information that she supplied for me.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Kaz {Hugs} that was such a depressing time for me..
March 15, 200817 yr Way to go Kaz.. Looks like we are slipping into the dry season again. We should be getting 140mm this month but have only had 10mm ..
