Chipy flying,Rocky on curtain rail Poppy flying I thought this one is funny,Chipy doesn't look impressed how Rocky almost took his head off with her wing Rocky got stuck to the lace curtain back view of Chipy landing Edited March 11, 200817 yr by Elly
March 11, 200817 yr Author First of all I apologize for not resizing properly!Have fixed it now. what camera do you use ? I have a nikon D80 SLR.You have very nice birdsThanks, there not actually mine but my kids birds but since I pay for all their needs and wants I get to play whenever I want.(Laughing out loud)what setting on your camera do you use to get such good motion pictures??I set my camera on a high iso setting, also tried the auto setting and sport setting.I am still learning about my slr,but its fun!
March 11, 200817 yr excellent shots do you have a panning mode too? This is where it gets the object in motion but the back ground is blurry this is on top of the sport mode too? I ask because I got a new camera and it has this mode I have yet to try it.
March 11, 200817 yr Hi FGM, Fantastic photos... now that they are resized maybe a mod could change them back to posted images.. it would be a shame if people bypassed the linked images. Nice work. If you have upped the ISO maybe try the sports mode on the Nikon... no flash, so you need good light conditions... you can get some nice images that way. Feathers.

Because they still have the same name your computer will recall the photos from your cache' because it is quicker. Feathers.
March 11, 200817 yr Author Now the photos aren't showing Oh well, apparently I do have the panning mode, haven't played with that one yet! There is so much to play with on the camera sometimes I don't know where to start.
March 11, 200817 yr Don't feel bad (Laughing out loud), I tried to get flight pictures because of your pics and couldn't get one and now the shutter is too slow : so have to figure that one out now.
March 12, 200817 yr Great shots! I love the first two, the colours and textures are just lovely. Try having the flash on - this usually reduces the shutter speed and decreases blur. You might wash out colours or it may be too dark if you're far away, but experiment with it, it works for me.
March 12, 200817 yr FGM, can you repost the 3 missing photos using the IMG code? They are such good photos.. I'm sure everyone would love to see them. Feathers.
March 12, 200817 yr Author Here are the pics again,so sorry for the mix up! Poppy flying Rocky landing and nearly taking Chipy's head off (Laughing out loud) and thought I would add these profile shots Chipy Rocky and Poppy,he had just flown around the whole house and was a bit pooped

March 12, 200817 yr Poopy looks amazing when he is flying ... the color of him/her/it by your camera .... (Laughing out loud) I can't tell what sex any bird is by their names. He looks so different in a close up shot then when he's flying in that picture. Beautiful birds all of them. Great pics.
