Posted March 1, 200817 yr Hi there, my name is Derricka and I'm new to this site and budgies but I wanted to say hello to some like minded people. I have 2 budgies and they have just had their very first baby. He/she is about 4/5 weeks old (I think) as his/her feathers are coming in. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! His mother is Billi and she is going on 4 years and his dad is about 2 years. They are brilliant parents, very attentive. I don't know much about budgies or breeding but I am in the process of reading as much info on this site as I can. I've already learnt several new things in my short time here and I certainly look forward to learning even more. I've included some pics for you to look at. If anyone can tell what sort my birds are I'd appreciate as I know so little. Thanks!
