That seems like a good idea and the cage itself looks great.

Though I'd be worried about the stains/varishes/paint used on the wood, plus wood is a pain in the butt to clean! :)

I suppose it would be a mansion if he was raising little finches.

 

I too would be concerned about the paint or varnish used on it. It was still interesting to check out.
