Posted February 26, 200817 yr My beautiful albino Amira has run away to find her perfect partner! She didn't like her split ino partner, so after a couple of spells in a breeding cabinet with him she has run away to Kaz's place to find a budgiebloke she loves. This is the beautiful bird, herself.... Amira means Princess! Feathers Edited May 19, 200817 yr by KAZ
February 26, 200817 yr Good to see you here Feathers Amira is "acclimatising" and then we will see who she fancies or who we have "selected" for her. She travelled well and is happy. I am looking for her husband soon
February 26, 200817 yr Hey Feathers, long time no hear- hows things? Fingers crossed for Amira- she's looking well. How are the others going??
February 26, 200817 yr Long time no see wonderful to see you on , with Kaz she will have so many to chose from or Kaz are you arranging the paring?
February 26, 200817 yr Author Thanks Pie and Elly. I did miss being around and was reading the posts every now and then. Amira only has a light tan cere at the moment, so she has a little time to start her quarantine before being confined to a breeding cabinet. We were thinking of introducing her to a few suitable partners and see who she fancies as she may be selective, either that or the mate I had her with was inexperienced. It is nice to breed in collaboration with Kaz, something I would like to do more of in the future, in particular when I get right into exhibition breeding. Feathers.
February 26, 200817 yr Welcome back, it is so good to see you again, l missed seeing you on here. Amira is very beautiful, good luck with her

February 27, 200817 yr he is beautiful Kaz, I don't know about the show world but I would love to see the pairing, the babies and see what he is carrying in the form of genes . He is gorgeous.
February 28, 200817 yr I think Feathers and I had better put a few more pairs together and see what we can come up with For those that are wondering how it works. When chicks begin to hatch you toss a coin to see who gets first chick. You have legrings for both parties involved. If Feathers gets first chick her legring goes on the first chick when ready, then alternates...my legring on the next chick then hers and so on. As the chicks are too young at that stage to see what they will be like, type and size etc...its "pot luck" as to which chicks you get from a shared pairing. Edited February 28, 200817 yr by KAZ
February 28, 200817 yr Author haha sounds like fun! Lucky chick dip! I like it!! I'm all for more chick dips, Kaz... you know me too many birds for my breeding cabinets! Feathers.
