This is a rescue budgie I got so I dont know anything about,so if someone can tell me please the breed,sex and age.

Make sure you do a full 30 day quarantine before you introduce to your existing bird. This bird looks like it is going through a molt and looks female after there first couple molts is hard to determine the age of the bird so personally I can tell you it is over 6 months but in years I don't have a clue.

Thers no worries re quaratine as he/she is an only budgie.

She is a Normal Blue and she looks between 3-5 years old to me.

Just had a look at ring and theres one number that goes "around" the ring and a number reading downward which says 05,so I'm assuking he was born in 2005.

Yep! Thats what it means - She is most likely 3 years old =D

As for "Tufted",I dont know about that,I'm still ignorent too a lot of what I'm reading on here... :budgiedance:

To me it looks like her feathers are standing up more than normal on her forhead (tufted )

She is very cute by the way Did you rescue her???

The feather thing appears to be due to the moult :budgiedance:

Good eye there with the ring I didn't even think about looking for that since most don't have it :budgiedance:, glad everything is figured out

Is the ring Purple? if not it's not an 05 bird :S

That's still a rescue, good on you... how long have you had it? Is it settling in well?
