my new aviary is finally getting build and then i will be moving the budgies and repairing the old aviary.i was thinking about joining the 2 aviaries together to make one big one but now the new one is up i am not sure and still trying to work out safety doors and where to make a room for breeding cabinets but here are some pics of what i have done this weekend.i would love to turn the cubbyhouse into a room for breeding cabinets and storage but the kids will not let me.

looks great. yes offer the kids something for the cubby house. tell them that you cant wait till they have lost interest in the cubby house.

the kids are only 4 and 2 years old and still love their cubby house. i will just have to wait a couple more years before i can use it.

Ive had a vision , Take the roof off the cubbyhouse , lay some joists add a top floor , put the roof back on top , add a huge slide down to the ground and a ladder to climb up , a possible flying fox for when they get older , transform the cubby to the breeding room and everyones happy !! :hap:

we do not have a very big yard so there is nowhere to move it.

i have been going to the pet shop every week looking for some nice coloured budgies but have not found any yet. i did see a couple of cute quails that i am trying to convince my husband to let me buy.i think they would be great running around the bottom of the aviary.
