I use a aerosol deoderant,(in bathroom) but could the effects of it as budgie sits on my shoulder a lot of the time do him any harm?

....use it when the bird isnt on your shoulder.

I wouldn't use it at all it is not even good for your lungs but if you prefer it vs other types don't spray it around your bird at all as Kaz said. Their airways and the lining in their lungs are very sensitive and they can get sick quickly.

:ygbudgie: Rollons or sticks are MUCH better for you too!!! Keep your guys out of the bathroom Merlin if you keep on using aersols!!! (I have found aersols don't last as long?)
