My bird is going through a moult at the moment and I noticed he is a lot quiter then usual...

yes they tend to be quieter and crankier during a molt this is a stressful time for them always keep an eye on a quiet bird to make sure they are not fluffied up all the time in the corner or on the cage floor, no water poos, nasal discharge etc...are abnormal symptoms of a a molt.

:ygbudgie: For sure he will be quieter, I always feel so sorry for them during a moult. You might want to give him a little bit more of his favourite treat, like millet.

Yep... all VERY normal! Give him some extra love.
