Seed Quality Check.......

Featured Replies

Thats a great site :)

I have tried many different brands of seed over the years and i personally feel Trill is the best brand. it's fresh, clean and the seeds are viable + it has an added vitamin supplement and shellgritt.

Very informative site.

I agree Liv, I find trill the best too.

I buy my seed in Bulk premixed by a formula from John Scoble. A lot of people in my club use this.

Trill i'd also agree is one of the best brands, but since i have to buy so much and how expensive it is i buy pre packed bags of 20kg from a local bulk seller... There's three levels of seed... standard, breeder and something else... i've only ever bought the first two or else it become more expensive... but both of them are enjoyed willingly by my birds

:ygbudgie: Again, one must keep the purchasing of food in perspective. DON'T BULK buy if you have only a couple of budgies in order to get a good deal, it will spoil, get stale or go rancid. Make sure you can use it within a reasonable amount of time. Again, there are always the climate variations but keep it fresh as you would veggies or fruits!!! Same applies to treats, don't stock up on them unless they have a good outdate.
