Posted February 16, 200817 yr 'drum roll...........' I'm starting a new monthly competition! AVIAN ARTICULATION This is how it's going to work... Every month I will post a 'word'. It is your task to use it in a sentence in relation to your birds. I'll give you an example: TRIANGLE An anguement was brewing in the avairy about who was going to have to play the triangle in the upcomming musical, Pricilla, Queen of the Avairy. As you can see, you can use any meaning of the word. You can also use variations of the word... triangular etc... The meaning of the word won't be included, it's up to you to look it up if you don't know what it means. Try to be as creative/funny as possible and at the end of each month a winner will be decided (via voting or judging). As February is already halfway through, I thought I'd post an easy word for you all to practice. (I wont be announcing a winner) The February AVIAN ARTICULATION word is: "BUNKUM" ... I look forward to seeing the results! Edited May 23, 200817 yr by maesie
February 16, 200817 yr "I think laying in a nest box is all Bunkum. I'd rather lay my eggs in a seed cup !!"
February 16, 200817 yr The budgies on the bottom perch thought it was totally Bunkum that the birds above were deliberately aiming there poops for their heads
February 17, 200817 yr as the budgie girls all sat around the fruit bowl having a great party, until Mr. Bunkum decided to crash their party
February 17, 200817 yr As we all sat there patiently on the perch listening to Maesie tell us the rules a wisper was passed around "This is Bunkum"
May 21, 200817 yr Wow, laying eggs in a seedcup is totally bunkumatic dude!!! Said Bill to Ted in their totally ekazlent adventure. (Yeah, they're dyslexic and can't spell either.) "It is not proper decorum to aim your droppings at my head in such a bunkumry manner!" Chided the aristocratic opaline hen lividly. Miss Bunkumina chased Mr Bunkum out of the aviary, flapping her wings in outrage at the audacity of his verbal birdluv and bunkum. "Yes, It's all just a bit too bunkomedian for me." He quipped as he, a lone budgie, left the perch. Elvis the crested rockbudgie warbled to his lady feather diva, "I'm too sexy for my bunkum, too sexy for my bunkum, so sexy I funkum... Oh yeah and I'm a budgie, you know what I mean and I bob my little head whenever you talk, yeah oh when you talk, or when you squark, yeah, I blow my little crest whenever you squark" and lady feather diva trilled back, "I don't think your ready for this belly, I don't think your ready for this Elly, I don't think you're ready for me cause my body's just bunkalicious for you babe. I don't think you can handle it, it's bunkalicious!" Artemis the beakless wonder budgie whispered quietly to himself, "Hmm, I think I'd better do a bunk...um... before someone boots me out of the aviary by force and it just gets maesie."
