February 15, 200817 yr Third time lucky, whoo who... I bet your glad! You have some nice looking birds there too I am glad maesie, I love taking pics and video of the birds, they are so individual in type and colour.Oh they are lovely!!! I love the markings on the tops of their heads, especially on the last one, i have never seen that before. Very pretty Thanks LivThe marks on the head is called flecking or ticking, it's actually a fault if showing, although a lot of show birds are flecked. Usefull in the breading box to help produce spots but you have to put the flecked bird to one that has a clean head.
February 16, 200817 yr Stunning birds, they all look so proud of themselves!!! Until I came here I had never seen a 'Yellow face'....lovely! All of your birds are gorgeous and the last one with the flecks is lovely and different to boot. Proud 'papa'.
February 16, 200817 yr NOW THERE ARE SOME BEAUTIFUL BUDGIES IN THIS GROUP ! WOW WEEEEE ! I will take that one & that one & that one ... oh ya & them ones over there. I will take such good care of them. I promise. Okay Thanks. KAZ ... keep yer hands off. I get first dibs. I will bring the cake !
February 16, 200817 yr Great looking birds Throwback…strange how the people in the East want the birds from the West & the ones in the West want the ones in the East & some guy from Canada wants them all…just as well they locked him up…He… He… He.
February 17, 200817 yr Did you notice that in most of the pictures these birds seem to have NO EYES ... you are breeding budgies that don't want to see ? They all look incredibly drunk or drugged or bored stiff. They are not even interested in looking at the cam. Even the yellowish hen that is telling you off. Yer birds have "TUDE" ... ATTITUDE !!!!!!!!!!
February 17, 200817 yr Goodluck with the breeding Throwback. February 23, 200817 yr NickNack is not the only Canadian that would like them birdies. :bluebudgie: I would love some yellow faces, that would be a new line around here. Great pics by the way.
February 23, 200817 yr There ya go ... see ! Lazer & I are going to join forces & head for the Australian Coast to get us some pretty budgies. Lazer lives not too far from my place here. Hey Lazer .... How bout we train these budgies we get ! We will strap them onto our bodies & get them to fly us home to Canada. Save the cost on expensive jet air fare with the crummy stale peanuts. Besides ... bird seed & millet is cheap. We should wait till spring time though. It's still a little chilly to be flying Budgie Air Lines right now. I have a new partner in crime. Hey Lazer ... do ya like cake ?
February 23, 200817 yr By the time we get from Ausralia to Canada, with budgies as propulsion, it should be warm here. My wife wants a couple Cocktoos as well so that could be the afterburner. Wait now, this is starting to sound like a Australian fighter plane.

Wait now, this is starting to sound like a Australian fighter plane. Ya, we seriously don't want to upset the Canadian Armed Forces with unchartered & unknown aircraft in they're territory. Even if we are the unknown aircraft & actual Canadians flying it. Wouldn't want to be shot at ! Panicked budgies & cockatooos or threes would make some nasty poopers on unsuspecting Canadian Aircraft Windshields. I would hate to see the news stories on CBC or CityTV about this hostile invasion we caused.
March 1, 200817 yr WOW !!!! I have a thing for blues and grey at the moment ...... Maybe because I don't have them ... I just can't get past Show Budgies Heads .....
March 1, 200817 yr are they related?a lot of them look so alike Yeah they do look alike! Some may have the same relo or two but that's as close as it gets. http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/t...nt=DSC00178.jpg http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/t...08/DSC00178.jpg These two look like there out of the same nest but are from different breeders. I may put these two together, They say not to breed flecked together, but I have always liked to find out things myself. Listen to all advise but in the end make your own call.. Edited March 2, 200817 yr by Elly pics changed to link over the board regulations of 450x450, thank you for understanding
March 2, 200817 yr They're a lovely pair- and if you get some non flecked babies it'll be worth it. You can only try. It only takes one stormer!
