March 18, 200817 yr My oldest budgie passed away this summer. I got him when I was 7 years old and went to 1st grade(..kids go to school at the age of 6-7 where I live) and he was about a year old when we got him, so he was 11 when he died.

I hope you don't give up on finding some love in your heart for another budgie sometime in the future. You obviously were a good owner & took very good care of your bird. He was a very old bird ! 11 years is very impressive.

March 21, 200817 yr Hi there everyone. My oldest ever budgie was Sam 1. He was 9 years, 2 months and approximately 13 days old when he died on 18.2.04,from a abdomenal tumour. So sad! More about my budgies later...
