February 12, 200817 yr I both budgies make the ACK ACK sound. Pretty was a huge ACKER and he is a male you don't hear an ACK out of Merlin at all.
February 12, 200817 yr sounds like an angry hen noise to me Edited February 12, 200817 yr by *libby* fixed double post
February 12, 200817 yr Both my budgies make the ACK ACK ACK sound. I hear it more often from the hen. She loves to do this when she wants my attention & wants to come out of her cage.
February 12, 200817 yr Nick your right it is an attention getter for sure :oliveb:, like I said Pretty would really do it more. Merlin does the calling then the acking.
February 12, 200817 yr :oliveb: Everybody ACKACKACKS here, including the female in quarantine in the bedroom, not gender specific unless my birds are weird. :oliveb:
