March 10, 200817 yr Author We are going to Whiteman Park on Sunday for the Classic Car Show, so it looks like Saturday will be spent polishing the beast Morgana . A female postie friend of Kens phoned him the other day to tell him she had seen a coffin thrown out on the bulk refuse verge thowout. I have never seen him move so fast !! He was out the door in the blink of an eye in my ute to go get the coffin.....and came home with a big cheesy grin on his face. Its a homemade one that seems to have been used for a prop for a play or something....black and red and red satin lining. But it needs some refurbishment and repaint Looks like another job for Saturday or maybe Friday and Saturday.....so I can load it up for the show. Another thing to mention is that aman came out to take photos last week of the hearse. They have it in mind for a future article for a National Car magazine here in Australia....it may happen, it may not. But the guy taking the photos was very enthusiastic about it and he is submitting it to the Chief Editor. Edited March 10, 200817 yr by KAZ

March 14, 200817 yr Author What to do, what to do ??..............I cannot go to the car show as I have a budgie show on and I am also part of the committee and its the annual general meeting and I am supposed to be receiving a trophy as well and .........so I have to go to the budgie show and Ken is taking my hearse to the car show. MORE NEWS !! We have just heard back from a National Car magazine ( UNIQUE CARS MAGAZINE ) and they are definitely doing the article they approached us about on the hearse. I will be interviewed on Wednesday next for the article, and the photographer comes after that at some point. He has requested dusk photos in a cemetary. Edited March 14, 200817 yr by KAZ

March 14, 200817 yr Kaz, I didn't realise it was the AGM on Sunday... poop! There will be a couple of noses out of joint when you, a relative newbie, gets a trophy. Congrats. As for the Unique Cars photoshoot, I can't wait to see the end result. I hope they manage to get a blue hue from the car to show up it's magnificent colour. *hugz* to you (just because it has beena while since I gave you one...) Feathers.

March 18, 200817 yr Author We just got the go ahead on the article and photo shoot for the hearse going into the car magazine. The interview is tomorrow and the hearse photo shoot is at a nearby cemetary Tuesday at 6 pm PS better get the coffin painted up. Edited March 18, 200817 yr by KAZ

I may have to find an elvira type costume. Lily Munster or something like that. Tophat and tails maybe ?

March 19, 200817 yr Author The interview was today and went well. The journalist / car enthusiast also enjoyed a ride in the hearse and was impressed. He said it rode better than he thought it would. I will just wear black for the photoshoot, and the article will be in UNIQUE CARS not this issue but the next.
