my budgie zeus has been pecking his little blue bead on his kebab toy...looks like hes kissing it and talking to it...also whenever i talk to him he rings a bell...is that his way of talking to me?

Budgies have a habit of "falling in love or lust" with their inanimate objects (toys ) in their cages. Especially anything reflective. They see them as a companion budgie, even if the reflection is just themselves. Sometimes its best to remove all refective toys especially mirrors and bells from their cage so they can concentrate on their human companion. Besides, some budgies get possessive over their toys to such an extent they regurgitate on them and mate with them and also attack anyone who comes between them and their "friend".
