Posted January 9, 200817 yr hi all im belinda i have 6 budgies i am getting some new birds soon im hoping i live in melbourne victoria western suburbs, i have been breeding for a few years off and on now. if theres anyone that wants a chat just reply to me and i hope i can make some new friends out of this. regards belinda

January 10, 200817 yr The violets are a beautiful variety , but difficult to understand. the violet factor is a modifying factor like grey. If you pair two violets together you can get skyblues, cobalts and mauves, also single and double factor in skys , cobalts and mauves, and violets. I just looked up some pairings for you Visual violet (S.F) x skyblue = 25% violet skyblue(s.f) =25% skyblue =25% violet cobalts (s.f) which are visual violets =25% cobalts. -------------------------------------------------------- Visual violet (s.f) x cobalt. 16.5% skyblues 16.5% violet skyblues 16.5% cobalts 16.5% violet cobalts (s.f) which are visual violets 16.5% mauves 16.5% violet mauves (s.f) Overwhelming, yes I know
