Posted January 7, 200817 yr A few weeks ago, I decided I would like another lutino male to add to my aviary. The male I bought was smaller than I thought when I got him home, so I was still keeping an eye out. I visited the bird store on the other side of town, near my partner's place and got all excited about a nice looking yellow budgie - not lutino, but with cinnamon markings. I wanted a cock and wasnt sure of the sex of the bird as the cere wasnt coloured. The shop owner came with me to answer my query, and while I was trying to refind the bird I had looked at, he pointed it out and said "thats the one youre looking for isnt it". I was amazed (its a bit sad when your bird dealer knows your taste in colour in budgies! ) as he was right and he said it was a male. He also pointed out my gorgeous new bird is a fallow! I was so excited as I had made local enquiries just a couple of weeks before to try and get hold of some fallow budgies, but with no luck as yet. Well here he is.........I think I might call him Comet, but I'm not quite settled on a name just yet (Not fabulous pics, but they show his colour)
