My New Blue Dominant Pied Cock Bird

Featured Replies

okay here is a picture of my new blue dominant pied cock bird I bought yesterday. He is in quarantine (single breeding box) with a grey hen I also bought from the same person (atm they are both hoping in the nest box and staying in there).

He's a lovely boy :P

Kaz,

Thanks, I thought so :P the guy is going over seas so was selling all his birds (have a yellow faced blue cock to pick up in a few weeks as his mate has young chicks atm so couldn't go yet). I think this fella is nicer though (getting the other one for his colour) and I think I got the dominant pied for a reasonable price too.

Kind Regards,

dmcminn,

He is at Wallsend near Newcastle but didn't have much left when I was there (had already sold a lot) and there were more people coming after I left.

thanks. I am guessing Butterwick is up that way?

(Laughing out loud), yeah Butterwick is near Woodville, Duns Creek (back of Morpeth/Hinton/Wallalong and before Paterson).

Nice looking bird HarlequinLover, good luck with breeding, sounds like it’s already off to a good start.
