January 15, 200817 yr ouch!!! ... Off topic--- when I was breeding last year, Crackle used to bite soooo hard it drew blood. I also nick named her goose, as when she was attacking me she sounded like a honking one!!! --- I might call this one FANG :hap: :hap: :hap: :hap: :hap: ... I have this image in my head now of the little one with vampire fangs comming out the sides of its beak... (Laughing out loud) (Laughing out loud) (Laughing out loud)
January 15, 200817 yr Love this photo! Looks all sweet and cuddly at this stage. You're chicks are all cute as ever, Kaz.
January 16, 200817 yr Author This chick might NOT be a Texas clearbody after all....its turning out to be a cinnamon green I think Edited January 16, 200817 yr by KAZ
January 16, 200817 yr might NOT be a Texas clearbody after all....its turning out to be a cinnamon green I think STILL VERY CUTE NO MATTER WHAT TYPE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited January 16, 200817 yr by KAZ
January 16, 200817 yr Looking good Kaz, the Normals seem to have broad heads at least; it's a bit hard to tell with the TCB, so maybe some improvement with the show bird cross. FANG might be a hen…don't you think? This chick might NOT be a Texas clearbody after all....its turning out to be a cinnamon green I think Wait & see what the flights turn out like, still might be a TCB. My Cinnamon TCB hen is big & looks like it's turning out nice, after producing her I have discovered that her dad is Cinnamon, I just thought his Black wasn't so intense. You were right with the "wait and see" advice Norm it IS a Texas Clearbody chick after all. Tried to get some photos but the camera ran outa juice
January 21, 200817 yr They look like they were looked after real well Kaz, pity the flash washed it out a bit, can’t see the TCB that well. The must be getting spoilt, as most of mine, of the larger size ones, would have left the nest by that stage.

They have produced slightly better than average pet type budgies
January 21, 200817 yr Is curry the only TCB you have Kaz? Did you keep any of his other TCB young? Do you like the mutation & are you thinking of improving this mutation for showing? Just interested.

January 27, 200817 yr Looking good he's a cutie the TCB!!! woops, i mean SHE Edited January 27, 200817 yr by *libby*
January 28, 200817 yr Author Yeah looking good Kaz, the TCB looks a bit like a Cinnamon? Mmmmm. Markings are light. But I dont think Curry carries cinnamon at all. Time will tell I guess. I think the chicks have come out better in size and type than Curry and thats down to the hen. I may have to use that hen with a better show type cock. I have removed her for a rest and Curry is finishing raising the babies.
