The hen that threw her newly hatched chick out and had another 9 eggs, has been retired for the breeding season. Her other eggs have been divided evenly amongst some other hens. The foster mother that has her chick has five of her eggs.

 

****Not all breeding is problematical, as I am breeding through 28 breeder cabinets right now, the few negatives do NOT outweigh the positives :(

****the foster mother to the chick and 5 eggs is a new mother today to another foster chick.....from one of the 5 fostered eggs. I havent had a close look yet to see if it is a lacewing or not.
