Hi This is my hens first clutch and she is up to her 7th egg. I am really concerned about the eggs getting the attention they need with so many. Can I remove the new ones as she lays or will she keep going. Any advice would be appreiciated.

The more you remove them the more she will try and replace them. Just wait and see where she stops. I have had hens sit on 10 eggs so there isnt too much to worry about and not all eggs are always fertile.

Whatever you do, try not to touch or handle the eggs....and relax. You may transfer your anxiety onto the bird :fear
