Was wondering if anybody has bought a book called The Challenge by binks , Im getting it for Christmas .

If so is it a good read , Its pretty much to do with exibition budgies .

Does anyone know of any other good books on budgerigars ?

One that I like and always flick back through is called Budgerigars : All you need to know by M.S.Christian , its an old book but I like the detail it goes into with feeding and nutrition, I also have a book from the Vet I use in sydney , Its called Budgerigar Medicine by Rob Marshall , The book is a good read and very helpful with breeding budgerigars . He also has a web site worth a look www.birdhealth.com.au interesting site with health info on all birds.

I also have the first three volumes of Australian Birdkeeper magazine and was wondering if they might be worth something as they are pretty old and you cannot get the back copies anymore.

I have THE CHALLENGE by Gerald Binks. It is top class. A brilliant book. They call it THE BIBLE of budgie breeding. You will love it
