December 2, 200717 yr I'm sorry, i cant help you with the bedding you are asking about. I normally use rolled oats. :rip: Your babies look really cute.
December 2, 200717 yr The paper bedding you speak of sounds like the stuff processed out of paper waste. Over here it is commonly used for insulation in roofs. The only thing you may have to consider when checking it out is the dust level in it. Mostly with pine shavings we aim for the kind without fine dust
December 3, 200717 yr Author hello, the bedding isnt the blown in insulation, but i know what ya mean,we use it here to, this stuff i did buy today is called care fresh bird bedding, no dust it seems to be a cleaner version, made from cellulose, they have played with it but not eating it, dries the poop instantly and spilled water stayes in a glob, so far i like it, thanks for the replies , i think this stuff will keep the poop off their feet and i can find any wasted veggies in it, so i say thumbs up so far, juliet
December 3, 200717 yr Some people use kitty litter the type that is made from recycled paper. I use pine shavings. with a drop or two of eucalyptus oil to keep the mites at bay.
