Posted November 25, 200717 yr I posted this elsewhere when discussing breeding, but figure this is the best spot for it now. Pics below are of my mum, dad and mum's parents. Any idea on colours??? Green is dominant yeah??? I'm not sure about Tweet Tweets parents as I found him a few months ago. The eggs are due any day now? Just wondering what I'll possibly get. SOOOOOOOO hard to wait!!!
November 25, 200717 yr Dad looks like a grey green opaline . (Are you 100% sure of parants)Green is normaly dominant but when a green is mated to a grey then this grey green colour apears. Most likely you will get greys & grey greens out of this pairing.

Can't wait to see the results. All my other budgies are blue or grey, so really hoping for some greenies cheers
November 25, 200717 yr A grey bird is a blue based bird with the grey factor so if your green bird is split to blue you may also have a chance of blue babies too and greys.
November 28, 200717 yr Girl offsprings WILL be opalines (easy to sex there ) Grey and Grey-greens as others have said and a chance of blues or greys if Tweet Tweet is carrying the blue gene.

Thanks all for your info... Hope I WILL get babies out of the eggs eventually (can you tell I'm impatient???) so I can put my newly found knowledge to the test. :feedbirds: xxx
