In the last week or so my 4 yr old male budgie Petey seems to have a mass of droppings sticking to his feathers, I cleaned this off and thought nothing of it however this has happened consistently for the past week or so and I'm concerned something may be wrong with him. Has anyone had this happen before? Could it be just his feathers causing the stick or could it be something more serious

This isnt normal or to do with feathers. Usually indicates illness. Check him over for body weight and thinness over his breastbone. I think hew needs a checkup at the avian vet.
