I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could put Budgies with a King Parrot in a aviary? I was thinking about getting one as I find them so beautiful and fascinating but as I live at home with my parents I can't really build another aviary. Also would anyone know how much it would be to hold a permit in Brisbane to keep them?

im not sure about putting such a large bird in with budgies but i do know you can get on the below website to find out recreational licence prices etc

it seems to all be in 'morse code' though, probably best to call them

Although we have all kinds of birds here, I would not mix anything with Budgies. Budgies can be mean and nasty to other birds. The question also has to be how large is your aviary ? King Parrots need a lot of space :)
