Hi all,

 

Over the last couple of weeks Kazumi has discovered a love of food.... MY food!

 

It all started with a caesar salad, he saw the lettuce and his little eyes lit up.

 

 

 

His absolute favourite is cereal, preferably of a wholegrain variety.

 

 

 

and Pears... I ran out 2 days ago and he is missing his afternoon treat.

 

 

 

He wasn't too sure about trying the banana

 

 

 

but he had a little nibble...

 

 

 

he even spotted a tasty little worm..

 

 

 

before realising his TOE!! didn't taste quite as good as it looked.

the cereal one needs to be in the budgie of the month feathers that is just way too cute

thanks for the replies. Kazumi would agree that the cereal shots are the best too. I really do have trouble trying to eat my breakfast with Kazumi about. He gets IN the plate and ON the spoon. So far he likes Light and Tasty with Apple and Cranberry and Wholegrain Cornflakes.

Those pics of your little cereal thief are too cute! Once they decide they like something of yours there's no escaping...when I had my Pip if you had toast you would not get any peace until you gave him a piece for himself...he also stole a scone from my mum by sitting on her head, sliding down her forhead and sitting on the scone...needless to say she didn't fancy finishing it after it'd had bird feet on it (it is my favourite photo of my first budgie, him sitting on the scone munching away )

I used to have a major thief, he would get his own plate at breakfast and dinner to keep him off ours!!

Great pictures! I sometimes resort to eating in elsewhere especially if there is toast involved. Kazumi is coming along SO well!

That's always the way!! I've tried that with apple i was eating, i put some aside for the budgies. Sir Blinkie just wasn't satisfied though, and had to help himself to mine. :(Laughing out loud):
