We have a community garden and have recently built a cpommunity aviary.

We have 8 budgies and 2 cocatiels are there any outhe birds we can mix in our aviery.

The size is 3x4x3mts. also we would like to plant some shrubs on the floor any tips.

Tips for planted aviaries....YES. Budgies eat everything !! We started out with fully planted out aviaries and the budgies decimated the lot. You could try some potted safe plants and keep rotating them in and out as they become "unwell" from budgies attentions. But not too much will last once the budgies get the taste for the plants........Better still just put something in their that will hold branches and get the budgies branches of eucalyptus, peppermint tree and hibiscus a couple of times a week. They will enjoy them, it will look good and the budgies will have fun and get excited over it all. :)
