Another Of My Babies

This little girl (?) is hard to tell her colouring even to me with the naked eye, so I dont know how much luck I will have with these pictures. The pics were taken in sunlight, but its a pretty bright day. I was wondering if she (?) looks cinnamon to anyone. Her parents are a lutino hen and a grey male, but of course I dont know their parentage. It's really hard to pick if she is grey or cinnamon for me.

She is a greywing. Her body colour looks bluish too. Very pretty :)

Thanks KAZ, I have another little girl just like her from totally different parents next door to where she is (Laughing out loud). Also a hen I suspect! I dont think I have bred a boy yet out 12 chicks!

Please bear in mind that a chick of that age can and will suddenly fly off from your hand. I didnt see an enclosure around you in that photo.

You are right, I am out of the aviary, but she cant fly quite yet. The other budgie I spoke of earlier in the box next door has been close to fledging and so I only photographed her in the aviary and put her back in her box and when I came back about half and hour or so later, she was on the ground and attempting to fly. An hour after that, she was quite happily perched on a branch, but I like to keep a close eye on the babies in their first days out, as soon as I see they are eating on their own I bring them in from the big aviary. The come into a largish cage indoors for the time being, until we have our new 2nd budgie aviary set up.

This is Pretty's baby who I speak of :)

The first one I would say is a greywing mauve. The second is a spangle either mauve or grey I can't see the cheek patches well.

Very pretty chicks  I agree with Kaz and on a note they don't need to fly to get away from you quickly you can ask anyone who has or had a clipped bird :). Better to be safe then sorry.
