Hi all

This is Precious. Precious is the youngest of Smudges and Cloudy's babies and will be staying with me. I would like to breed from him/her when she is old enough, but I am hoping in the meantime to have her as a pet. She might not become a breeder after all (Laughing out loud). I was wondering if these shots I have of her are enough to find out what colour she is. My son has borrowed my digital camera for a few days, so these are all I have right now.

Precious is very beautiful. I would like to know what she is also.

She is beautiful. To me she looks like a dominant pied girl, but I'm not an expert so wait for someone experienced But she is pretty

They look like plum eyes to me. I think she is a skyblue recessive pied. She is beautiful.

Recessive pied...possibly greywing recessive pied. Both parents appear to be skyblues unless flash has been used on previous pictures, so skyblue recessive pied greywing perhaps ?..........and its a hen

I agree with Pie...I don't see the Greywing...Recessive Pied can do strange things to the wing pattern on Normals.

I don't see grey in the wings and I think Cobalt recessive becuase there isn't the slight green/aqua hue to the bit of blue showing that a flash will bring out in skyblues.

This is a sky blue with a flash used in the shot, see how your bub doesn't have that slight green tint. If the dad was cobalt then you would have 50% chance of cobalt babies.

I agree I think she is cobalt. Mum is skyblue recessive and she has that slight green tint in some shots, but dad doesnt. Learning about colouring is so daunting until you finally understand the first little bit! hehe
