Hello, my 8 babies are doing wonderfully well, 5 have fledged and I have 1 sky blue + 4 recessive pied sky blue and 3 Albinos. I am keeping 2 but i would just like to ask how old do the babies have to be B4 they can go to new homes?

You have done well Babies have to be well and truly cracking seed, eating all by themselves, not thin, "bright eyed and bushy tailed" and flying. So that can vary with each bird. Some of mine are right to go at 6 weeks and some a little older.

i normally wait 4 to 6 weeks before i start to think about new homes

the minimum age would be 6 weeks. 4 weeks is WAY too young. Some, when removed from their nests too early can get 'depressed' and stop eating.
