Posted October 3, 200717 yr Hi Everyone, I Need A Answer (By The Exsperts)(Laughing out loud);)Please Can I put 4 Breeding cages together In A Aviary? I Just Need your throughts Thanks Nathanm
October 3, 200717 yr I've found that it's better to put the breeding cages somewhere outside of the aviary. When i tried to put them in the aviary all the budgies that weren't paired off in the cages tried to get in and i had a lot of fighting happen.
October 3, 200717 yr No problem. I'm not sure what space you have available, but i found having my breeding cages indoors but within ear shot of the other budgies worked best for me.

You don't want it to get too hot or cold either, so i guess it depends on your shed. Our shed is a dark spidery place with no windows but i know some are much nicer...

October 4, 200717 yr Hi Nathan I found that putting my breeding cages in the safety door area of the avairy had the best results. Close enough to the other birds that they can hear them. But far enough away so as not to be distracted from the job. That seems to work best for me. Cheers Meg
