Posted October 3, 200717 yr We had our new aviary delivered and we have set it up all ready to go. I rang a local breeder from the Trading Post in my area. He has a few babies (says there aren't many babies around right now. Is this true?) and has babies that will be ready in roughly a months time. He said he could sell me some babies and some adults. Would this be okay? They will be together in the one aviary. The babies are 6-7 weeks old and feeding themselves. Unsure as to how he has them set up until I visit him tomorrow. All your advice is greatly appreciated Nic
October 3, 200717 yr As long as you're not colony breeding (i.e. there will be no nest boxes in the aviary) there shouldn't be a problem having babies and adults in an aviary together.
October 3, 200717 yr As Bea says..as long as they are in the aviary with NO nest boxes....all will be fine.
October 3, 200717 yr Author Thanks for your quick replies. There will be no breeding boxes so all should be okay. Thanks Nic
