With all that has been happening I haven't had the time to post pics or even comment about our new boys. Two were brought home within 3 days of each other and the other is a baby that we are hand raising (since Caeser plucked him and stopped caring for him.

 

Here are some pics of the baby: I believe he is going to be a yellow face type 2 sky or colbalt blue.

The second one is a golden face (although he looks green in the pics, there is definate blue on him) dominant pied gray wing. (he also looks to me like ho could have some spangle feathers but I'm not too sure.

What an absolutely adorable group. They are all so gorgeous, I particularly like the second one. I have a budgie similar and with the blue on the bottom and white on top, I called him Cloudy. I also really like the name Monty :yellowhead: There are my name suggestions

you have very nice budgies, l love there colouring.

your 2 new additions, l believe that your white budgie is a yellow face type 2, if he has an iris ring then he would be a double dominant pied.

the last budgie does look like a golden face type 2, as for being a spangle, l think that he is one but l'm not 100% sure.

I really don't know how to say this right now but my new members are one less as of this mornig. We were feeding the baby and there was an accident where he fell. He must have landed wrong because he died in front of us. I am am beside my self with guilt right now. After losing Houdini, and now Turk, as we named him last night because he looked like a turkey when he ate, I don't know what to do. I love my birds dearly but right now I feel that they may be happier and safer somewhere else. Please don't think of me as a bad person but I really don't know right now.

Melissa, accidents happen all the time. We have all experienced something like this in one way or another. Please dont beat yourself up over it. It was an accident pure and simple. I am sorry you are feeling so bad :angel1:

I had an awful accident with one of my birds a few months ago. I know exactly how you feel, but as the other guys said, accidents are accidents. They happen. None of us are perfect, thats what makes us human. Forgive yourself and dont be too hard on yourself. I am sure you the rest of your babies love the wonderful home and love you give *hugs*

:ygbudgie: Sorry for your loss but don't beat yourself up, it wasn't intentional and accidents do happen, sorry it had to happen to you.

Thanks for all of the support!!! I think it was just areally difficult thing to be feeding him and playing with him to having him in my hands taking his last breath. I really needed the kind words to get me through it. You guys rock!!! We have 2 eggs now and I'm hoping that everything will go well.

they are really gorgeous.

your yellow bird is not a spangle. if it was a spangle the markings should be very thin black lines on the tips of the feathers.
