I have a hen that has chewed all around the hole of her nesting box, it looks to be made of chip board. Should I take the box out and will she be alright?

most hens chew at the hole to the nesting box and most pet store brought ones at chipboard. Should be okay, if you remove it you would need to replace it with another (made of ply wood is good) and she will have to start again to accept it as her box.
